Nador (north) - Moroccan authorities on Thursday seized some 1.2 tons of chira (cannabis resin) near the town of Iazanen in the northern province of Nador.

The banned substance (worth 12 million dirhams), concealed in the form of 40 packages, was seized in a van carrying a fake registration, customs sources pointed out.
