Tangier - Moroccan authorities seized, on Wednesday at Tangier-Med port, 2.4 tons of cannabis resin (locally known as Chira) in a truck bound for Europe, customs sources said.
The banned substance was carefully concealed in the form of platelets at the trailer of a truck bound for southern Spain, the same source pointed out.
During this operation, the police arrested the truck driver and his assistant.
