2.4 kg of cocaine seized in Mohammed V airport

Mohammed V airport (Casablanca) - A Guyanese national was arrested، on Saturday، by the security services at the Casablanca Mohammed V airport for carrying 2.4 kg of coke، a police source said.

The illegal substance was hidden inside the luggage of the Guyanese drug trafficker who was traveling from Sao Paulo to Cotonou (Benin)، said the airport's judiciary police chief Abdelhadi Siba.

The dealer is kept in police custody to complete the investigation under the supervision of the public prosecutor of Casablanca first instance court.
