Beijing - Moroccan athletes Rabab Arafi and Malika Akkaoui on Sunday qualified for the women's 1500m in the world athletics championships in Beijing.
In the 1st series, Akkaoui crossed the finish line fourth in a time of 4min 16sec 61. The same for her countrywoman Arafi who finished fourth in the 2ns series (4min 08sec 19/100).
The 1500m final is scheduled for Monday.
