Nouakchott - The 31st Ordinary Summit of Heads of State and Government of the African Union (AU) opened, Sunday in Nouakchott, with the participation of Morocco.
The Moroccan delegation to this two-day event, held under the theme "Winning the Fight against Corruption: A Sustainable Path to Africa's Transformation," is led by minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Nasser Bourita.
According to the organizes, the Summit will tackle several issues, including the institutional reform of the pan-African organization, the African continental Free Trade Area, the state of peace and security in the continent, the draft legal instruments, as well as the Union's budget.
