Abu Dhabi - Moroccan Said Ayt Ouzit won on Tuesday in Abu Dhabi the best holy koran reader prize (youth category), held as part of the 13th Ramadan festival initiated by the Emirates Heritage Club.
The contest, which kicked off on May 22, was marked by the participation of over 1000 readers from Morocco, UAE, Yemen, Syria, Egypt, Jordan, Mauritania, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Burkina Faso and Tanzania.
During the prize awarding ceremony, a tribute was paid to the top 10 recipients of each category of the Koran psalmody contest.
