Kenitra - Three people were killed and two others slightly injured in a road accident that occurred Saturday near Kenitra, local authorities said.

The accident took place on the Rabat-Tangier highway, when a small vehicle ran into a road sign.
The victims of the accident and the injured are all members of the same family, according to the same source.
The wounded were rushed to Idrissi regional hospital in Kenitra.
