Attijariwafa Bank Group Gets Two Awards in London

London - The Attijariwafa bank group recently received, in London, two awards from EMEA Finance Magazine, the bank said in a statement on Monday. During the 12th edition of the "African Banking Awards 2019" ceremony by EMEA Finance Magazine, the group Attijariwafa bank was awarded the prize for "best Moroccan bank for the year 2019" for the 5th year in a row, as well as the prize for "best bank in Senegal for the year 2019", through its subsidiary CBAO Senegal, for the 3rd year in a row, it said.

These 2 awards rewards "the progress made by the Attijariwafa bank group during 2019, because it managed to balance its expansion and its growth by taking into account risks in an often difficult context", said the same source. "Attijariwafa bank has a mature and well thought out corporate social responsibility plan. We are impressed by the clear support for very small and medium enterprises not only in Morocco, but also through the group's important geographic platform which spans 26 countries," said Christopher Moore, CEO of EMEA Finance magazine, quoted in the statement.
