Tétouan - Members of the customs services at the Bab Sebta post arrested, on Tuesday, an individual attempting to smuggle over 140,000 euros.

A customs services source said on Wednesday that the individual, a Moroccan living in the Netherlands, attempted to smuggle the sum into the occupied city of Sebta, then into his host country, without complying with the legal procedure in force and declare the sum to the competent national institutions.
The accused, born in 1979, carried also in a Morocco-registered car the sum of 47,000 dirhams, and five cheques. He was handed to the police to complete the probe.
