Casablanca - A Burkinabe national was arrested, on Saturday, in Mohammed V airport for possession of 3kg of cocaine.
The banned substance was found in sixteen soap boxes in the luggage of the Burkinabe national who arrived to Casablanca onboard a flight coming from Sao Paulo to Niamey, Niger, a customs official told MAP.
The man was handed to justice for further investigation on drug trafficking charges.
Last week, a Sierra Leonean Spanish was arrested at the same airport in possession of 4.9 kilograms of cocaine.
