Chairman of Polish-Moroccan friendship foundation lauds military justice reform in Morocco





Warsaw - The draft law on the military justice reform, adopted on Friday by the ministers' council, held under the chairmanship of HM King Mohammed VI, upholds the rule of law and democracy in Morocco, said chairman of the Polish-Moroccan friendship foundation Mohamed Jabiry.

In a statement to MAP, Jabiry, who is also vice-president of the Poland-Maghreb trade and industry chamber, added that this measure allows Morocco to abide by international standards in the field and shows HM the King's willingness to pursue reforms undertaken for over ten years and aimed at reinforcing the rule of law and human rights.

The new draft law on military justice was elaborated pursuant to the royal instructions in order to standardize national legislation with the constitution's provisions and international standards in force.
