Coronavirus: Call to Suspend publication and Distribution of Newspapers Until Further Notice, Ministry of Culture

Rabat - The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports has called on all newspaper publishers to suspend any publication and distribution as of Sunday until further notice. This call falls within the framework of the state of health emergency in force in the Kingdom of Morocco and the implementation of the measures taken to fight the propagation of the coronavirus "Covid-19", said a press release from the ministry.

Taking into account the important and vital roles played by Moroccan newspapers, the ministry urges all the press bodies concerned to continue to provide information in alternative formats, given the current circumstances, thus contributing alongside other national media outlets to information and awareness-raising efforts for the benefit of citizens, it added.
