Covid-19: Special Fund Collects over 32 Bln MAD By End of April, TGR

Rabat - The global amount collected by the Special Fund for the new coronavirus pandemic management reached 32.2 billion dirhams by the end of April, according to the General Treasury of the Kingdom (TGR). "The trust account entitled "Special Fund for the new coronavirus pandemic management" recorded revenues of 32.2 bln MAD and expenses of 6.7 bln MAD, said the TGR in its monthly bulletin of public finance statistics for the month of April. This trust account was created following the High Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI to cover the costs of upgrading the medical system, support the national economy to face the shocks caused by this pandemic, preserve jobs and reduce the social repercussions of the pandemic.
