Covid19: No Hotbed of Contamination in Fez, Official

Fez - The regional director of health in Fez-Meknes Mehdi Bellouti said on Tuesday that no hotbed of contamination, linked to the new coronavirus (Covid19), has been discovered in Fez. "No hotbed of contamination has been recorded in Fez, but screening by sampling has been carried out in certain facilities, as part of the ministry's policy aimed at strengthening screening in production areas and supermarkets", Bellouti told MAP. He added that the results of the samples "are under way". The Ministry of Health had decided to expand the screening tests by sampling at the level of production and industrial units, among others, to stop the spread of the pandemic. The total number of coronavirus infection cases in the Fez-Meknes region rose, until Tuesday at 4:00 p.m., to 534 contaminations.
