Dakhla, Miracle which Can Be Given as Example for African Countries, Chairman of Crans Montana Forum

Rabat - Dakhla is "a miracle" which can be offered as an "example" for African countries, said, Monday in Rabat, founding president of the Crans Montana Forum Jean-Paul Carteron, who noted that the Forum aims to make this city of the south of the Kingdom a real laboratory for reflection. Speaking at a press conference to present the 2020 edition of Crans Montana, scheduled for March 18-21, Carteron stressed that the southern provinces are the proof of what a vision and a political and governmental will can do even when minimum conditions are not met.

Welcoming the natural assets of the city of Dakhla, Carteron said he was convinced that it will be the "future Florida of Morocco ... the Tangier of the south", stressing that the goal is to make this forum an engine of growth, development and integration for the southern provinces. The president of Crans Montana also stressed that it is important to help Morocco maintain the historical and emotional link it has with the rest of Africa, adding that the Kingdom is clearly a leader who shows the way of miracles.
