Abidjan - The death of a Moroccan woman on September 30 in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, was not caused by the Ebola virus or any other contagious disease, said medical sources at the Treicheville university hospital.
The deceased, who was living in Côte d'Ivoire, "was not suffering from any contagious disease", according to a certificate delivered by the medical examiner of the hospital to the relatives of the deceased.
The deceased, 54, was suffering from asthma and her state of health has deteriorated after she contracted malaria shortly before she passed away, a relative told MAP.
