Digital Sector: French Economic Mission Next April in Morocco

Paris – The largest employer federation in France MEDEF organizes an economic mission in Rabat and Casablanca next April to explore Morocco's business opportunities in the digital sector.

Led by chairman of MEDEF International's digital task force, Marc Rennard, this mission, which will bring together French companies active in the sectors of cybersecurity, digital identity, dematerialization of transactions and e-government, will visit Rabat and Casablanca on 6-8 April, according to Medef International.

The program of this trip to the Kingdom includes meetings with the Moroccan digital ecosystem, government officials, implementing agencies and public institutions (ADD, Central Bank, National Telecommunications Regulatory Agency).

The digital task force will also hold talks with major French companies in the sector based in Morocco, meetings with Moroccan companies and professional federations (CGEM, APEBI), as well as discussions with international donors.

The Kingdom has embarked on a new dynamic with its "Maroc Digital 2020" plan, focusing in particular on decentralization and synergy between sectors in order to integrate as well as possible into global value chains, underlines the Medef.
