Paris - The Sahrawi Association of Solidarity for the Autonomy and Sustainable Development Project will organize, on August 8-15 in Nancy (north-eastern France), the first edition of the Sahrawi Festival held under the theme "Sahara: culture, history and belonging".

The event, on the occasion of celebrations marking the Throne Day, embodies the different aspects of the Saharan provinces, along with their civilizational heritage, customs and traditions, the organizers said.
It is also meant to spread knowledge about the Hassani culture as an element that makes up the Moroccan civilization and reaffirms the unwavering attachment of Sahrawi population to the glorious Alawite throne.
