Rabat - Former Moroccan international footballer Larbi Chebbak died on Thursday in Casablanca, at the age of 73.
The royal Moroccan football Federation (FRMF) said in a statement published on its website that the national football family has lost "a great name that has given so much to this sport in Morocco".
Chebbak was a key midfielder in several national clubs. He also played in the ranks of the Moroccan football team and contributed to the historic victory of the CAF Africa Cup of Nations in 1976.
