Google launches new post-mortem service

It is, indeed, a new feature, the "Inactive Account Manager", which allows users of various online services of Google to decide the fate of their stored data after their death.

Via a message that will be released post-mortem, the user might, for example, "pass" the contents of his files and data to a close friend.

"Today we launch a new feature that makes it easier to tell Google that you want to make of your digital assets if you die or can no longer use your account, says the Internet giant. We hope this new feature allows you to prepare your digital life after death, in a way that protects your privacy and security. ", says the American giant, AFP reports.
