Rabat - The Government Council, held Thursday under the chairmanship of head of Government Abdelilah Benkirane, adopted a bill approving the agreement between Morocco and the US on mutual assistance between customs administrations in both countries, which was concluded on November 21, 2013 in Washington.

According to a statement read by minister of communications and government spokesperson Mustapha El Khalfi, the bill 16-14 N provides for protecting the economic, trade and financial interests of the two countries, through the strict respect of customs regulations and the careful assessment of customs duties and other taxes.
The bill defines the area of ??mutual assistance between customs administrations, concerning mainly the exchange of information and the special measures to monitor customs offenders or suspicious goods.
