Rabat - HM King Mohammed VI sent a message of congratulations to Ivan Duque Marquez, on the occasion of his election as new president of the Republic of Colombia.
In this message, the monarch extended to Duque Marquez his heartfelt congratulations and sincere wishes of full success in his mission to achieve the aspirations of the Colombian friendly people for more progress and prosperity.
HM the King voiced his satisfaction with the relations of fruitful cooperation and mutual esteem between Morocco and Colombia, reiterating his determination to continue working with the new Colombian President to foslter these ties and broaden their scope to match the expectations of the two friendly peoples and serve their interests in order to contribute to strengthening communication and solidarity between countries of the South.
