Head of Morocco's Anti-Corruption Body holds talks in Santiago with Chilean counterpart
Santiago - President of Morocco's Anti-Corruption Body (ICPC) Abdesselam Aboudrar, who is on a visit to Chile, held talks, on Monday in Santiago, with the managing director of Chilean Transparency Council Raul Ferrada Carrasco, on ways to foster cooperation between the two institutions. 

These talks are aimed at getting information about the Chilean experience concerning the right to have access to information, good governance, bringing administration services closer to citizens, and facilitating administrative procedures, Aboudrar told MAP following the meeting held on the sidelines of his participation in the ninth international meeting of information commissioners in Santiago (April 21-23). The meeting was an opportunity to give a general overview of ICPC different missions, Aboudrar added, stressing Morocco's noteworthy efforts to fight corruption, notably by establishing the ICPC.

For his part, Carrasco gave details on the Council's structure and goals, including the promotion of transparency in the civil service.
