Rabat - A cooperation agreement was signed, on Monday in Rabat, by the house of representatives and the European Union to reinforce the house's capacities, help it fulfill efficiently its constitutional mission and enhance the transparency of parliamentary action.

Under this project to support the house, which spans four years (2014-2018) and is worth 3 million euros, the house will have an internal administration with capacities enabling it to face the growing activities and back MPs in practicing their new prerogatives.
The agreement, signed by speaker of the house Rachid Talbi Alami, economy minister Mohamed Boussaid and European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Füle, is part of the strategic project of upgrading and promoting parliamentary action at the lower house.
Stefan Füle underlined that the project is a contribution by the EU for the implementation of the new constitution provisions.
