Tétouan - The Royal Marine inspected, on Saturday, a suspicious unidentified small boat in the Moroccan territorial waters, off Tétouan and arrested two Spanish nationals, including one wounded by gunshot fired by the Royal Marine, local authorities of the Tétouan Wilaya said on Sunday.

They added that the inspection operation took place off the Mediterranean (30 km east of the Marina Smir port) when the two suspicious Spanish nationals refused to comply to the repeated orders by the Royal Marine unit.
The unit members fired five warning gunshot with no result and, afterwards, shot two times the individuals, injuring one of them. The wounded was rushed to the Saniet Rmel hospital of Tetouan.
The other man was arrested and kept in police custody upon the orders of the public prosecutor's office.
