Tetuan - A British citizen, subject of an Interpol-issued international arrest warrant, was arrested, Tuesday, in the northern city of Tetuan after he tried to kidnap a six-year-old girl, the city's judicial sources said.

The arrestee, wanted by Interpol for his alleged involvement in cases of kidnapping, detaining and ransom-seeking, was illegally residing in Morocco since the beginning of the year.
The wanted individual was arrested by citizens who were alerted by the cries of the girl who was trying to escape him.
He was immediately handed over to police.
The accused is allegedly involved in the rape of two other girls from the cities of Tetuan and Chefchaouen.
The man, who has admitted the facts after a long interrogation, has been brought to justice.
