Slashing by two thirds the rate of mortality of kids under 5 between 1990 and 2015 shows that Morocco is on the right path, says the report on the progress of the MDGs implementation.
The rate of child-juvenile mortality (0-4 years) has declined by 47 per thousand in 1999-2003 to 30 per thousand in 2007 to 2011, and the infant mortality rate (0-1 year) by 40 to 29 per thousand over the same period (MDG 4), the same source said.
