Man Brought to Justice in Beni Mellal for Inciting People to Breaching Health Emergency Rules - Police

Rabat - Judicial police of the city of Beni Mellal brought on Monday a 47-year-old man before the competent prosecutor's office for posting two video footages on social media in which he incites people to breaking the precautionary measures issued by public authorities as part of health emergency rules to stop the spread of the novel coronavirus in the country.

The man, who has a criminal record, posted these videos on Facebook, said National Police (DGSN), adding that he called on citizens to breaching the precautionary measures required by health emergency through gathering on public roads.

Investigations carried out by the police led to the arrest of the suspect.

The man was placed on custody, while investigations are underway under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor's office.
