Marrakesh: Suspension of Two Members of Auxiliary Forces Filmed Using Violence against Person during Application of State of Health Emergency

Marrakesh - Two members of the Auxiliary Forces, who appeared in a video posted on social media using violence against a person during the application of the state of health emergency, were suspended and brought before the disciplinary council, said on Friday sources from the local authorities of the Wilaya of Marrakesh. The same sources said that it was an arrest operation, which took place on May 6 in Belaaguid village under the commune of Ouahate Sidi Brahim (Marrakesh-Safi region), of a person who violated the state of health emergency and fled from a joint patrol, composed of 3 members from the Royal Gendarmerie and 3 others from the Auxiliary Forces. Wanted by a warrant, the said individual, "a minor", was presented to the competent authorities who decided to prosecute him in liberty for theft and violation of the state of health emergency.
