Beirut - Former Lebanese Minister of Justice Bahij Tabara lauded Morocco's decision on the reform of the military justice system, developed in accordance with the instructions by HM King Mohammed VI.

The Former Lebanese Minister described this "legal step" undertaken by Morocco as "very important", expressing his hope that the bill approved by the ministers' council, which provides for the exclusion of civilians from the jurisdiction of military courts, becomes an example and a model to follow in the Arab world.

The new draft law on military justice was elaborated pursuant to the royal instructions in order to standardize national legislation with the constitution's provisions and international standards in force.
