Military justice reform, major progress, president of Maghreb delegation at EP

"We should underlined the latest positive developments in the Moroccan military justice which constitute a major progress,e said the Italian Euro-deputy who was speaking before the delegation for relations with the Maghreb and the Arab Maghreb Union.

Panzeri pointed out that the draft bill, adopted by the ministers' council, provides for the exclusion of civilians from the competence of military courts.

The new draft law on military justice was elaborated pursuant to the royal instructions in order to standardize national legislation with the constitution's provisions and international standards in force.
