Rabat - Moroccan officials held, here Monday, a working session with US Assistant Secretary of State for Human Rights, Dafna Rand.
Minister Delegate to the Minister of Interior Drais Cherki, Communication Minister Government spokesman Mustapha El Khalfi, and General Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Nasser Bourita tackled with the US official the progress made by Morocco in promoting human rights and public freedoms.
Both sides also examined the means to reinforce cooperation between Morocco and the United States.
On this occasion, the US official hailed the reforms undertaken by the Kingdom, particularly in human rights and the status of women.
