Rabat - The Moroccan-European Union joint parliamentary commission welcomed Morocco's military justice reform that excludes civilians from standing trial military courts.

The co-chairs of the commission, Abderrahim Athmoun and Pier Antonio Panzeri made the statement on Thursday following a meeting in the Moroccan southern city of Dakhla. The mission helped the commission better understand regionalization challenges and regional development and sea fisheries stakes in the region.
The Morocco-EU parliamentary commission, set up four years ago, has paid the visit as the European parliament will be renewed next May.
