Preliminary indicators of foreign trade for the month of July were recently published by the Office des Changes, indicate that Moroccan exports of phosphates have risen significantly.

Phosphate exports were nearly 7.38 billion dirhams at the end of July, about 6.64 billion against the same period of 2011, an increase of 11.1%. With regard to imports of energy products, they recorded an increase of 11.8% over 57.39 billion dirhams, against more than 51.34 billion dirhams at the end of July of the previous year.
