Rabat - A terrorist cell which was active in several Moroccan regions has been dismantled recently, a release of the interior ministry said.

The cell comprised several individuals who followed training in weapons and explosive devices.
The dismantling operation also led to the arrest of a former prisoner who had been prosecuted for terrorism and suspected of coordinating nationwide fund-raising campaigns and recruitment of volunteers to fight within terrorist cells.
The cell will appear before justice after the investigation, supervised by the prosecutor, is completed.
