Morocco, Tunisia set to promote cooperation in structural reforms





Rabat - Morocco's government Chief Abdelilah Benkirane and his Tunisian peer Mehdi Jomâa discussed, Sunday in Tunis, the means to consolidate cooperation in the field of structural reforms.

This meeting, which took place on the sidelines of the participation of Benkirane in the international conference "Invest in Tunisia", was the opportunity to discuss bilateral cooperation in various fields, the Government Chief's Office said in a statement.
 
Both sides highlighted the experience of their countries in implementing structural reforms, including tax reform, budget reform and reforms in business environment, and they exchanged views on the experience of the two countries in finance, education and housing, the statement added.
 
Benkirane and Jomâa also agreed to intensify bilateral cooperation, notably the exchange of expertise regarding the operational management of structural reforms and sectoral policies, especially at the level of teams that are directly responsible for implementing policies.
