Rabat - Morocco's annual consumer price inflation rose to 2.4 percent in April from 2.2 percent in March, pushed up by climbing food prices, the high planning authority said on Monday.
Food prices rose 3 pct from a year earlier, while education costs fell 8.8 percent, the statement added without elaborating.
On monthly basis, consumer price inflation was flat as food prices fell 0.1 percent while non-food inflation was 0.2 pct.
