Washington -Morocco made a name for itself in the field of aviation as shows the number of international aeronautic and aerospace companies (no less than 100) which chose to invest in Morocco, said on Wednesday US TV channel "CNN".
The Moroccan aviation sector stands for 5% of the country's exports, it said, noting that the aviation industry is taking off in the region since it has employed over 8,000 people in 2013, a figure expected to reach 23,000 by 2020.
The sector is focusing mainly on manufacturing plane components, aeronautic engineering and engine repair, it said, adding that Morocco is hoping to build entire planes in the next ten years.
