Spain follows closely the process of reform and development undertaken by Morocco over the past years, said the member of the Spanish Popular Party (PP) who was speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Socialist Union of Popular Forces party (USFP), led by its first secretary general Driss Lachgar.
The progress made by Morocco in a region that is witnessing mutations is obvious and should be encouraged, he said, noting that the Kingdom's stability and development are of great importance for Spain and the EU.
In this regard, Cagigas commended the excellent cooperation relations between Rabat and Madrid in various fields, adding that the partnership ties have helped enhance trade exchanges and diversify fields of cooperation between the two countries.
