Rabat - Moroccan state grains agency ONICL said on Monday it had bought 260,000 tonnes of soft wheat at 2,582 to 2,800 dirhams ($320-$340) per tonne in the local market.
It was Morocco's second tender after a suspension of import duties for soft wheat, which runs from Jan. 1 to April 30. Morocco has also introduced a subsidy system to boost soft wheat imports to counter rising world prices over the same period.
