Rabat - Moroccan exports, excluding phosphates and by-products, reached a record 145.7 billion DH in 2013, compared to 136,5 billion DH in 2012, which is a 6.7 pc progression, says the exchange office.

This positive trend is credited to the car-making sector which progressed by 23.3 pc while the sector of agriculture and food industry grew by 3.4pc, says the source which notes that exports of the aeronautic sector went up by 14.7pc.
Meanwhile, imports of energy products were worth 102.4 billion DH, compared to 106.62 billion DH in 2012, scoring a 4pc decline.
