Rabat - Palestinian writer, poet and former ambassador in Morocco, Wassif Mansour passed away Wedesday at 68, a source at the Palestinian embassy in Morocco said.

The late ambassador will be buried on Thursday at Achouhada cemetery in Rabat.
Born in Haifa on December 25, 1945, Wassif Mansour spent a part of his life in a refugee camp before settling in Morocco in October 1964.
A teacher, Wassif Mansour was also an active member of the Fatah branch in Rabat, before holding diplomatic positions at the Palestinian state embassy.
