Rabat - Policemen foiled Wednesday a drug trafficking operation and seized 380 kg of cannabis resin near the city of Marrakech. The drug was packaged in 15 bags and was found near the highway connecting Marrakech to Casablanca, national police said in a statement, adding that a 46-year-old man was arrested for his alleged involvement in the possession and trafficking of drugs.
The man was placed on custody, while investigations are underway under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor's office to identify all the people involved in this operation. This operation is part of efforts made by security services to fight against drug-trafficking throughout the Kingdom.
