Rabat - Morocco's opposition Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) led the elections of the presidents of provincial and prefectural assemblies, winning 22 Assemblies (29.73 pc), the Interior Ministry said Sunday.

The parties of the National Rally of Independents (RNI) and the Istiqlal (PI) obtained the presidency of assemblies 11 each, for a rate of 14.86 pc, the ministry pointed out in a statement.
The Popular Movement (MP) won 8 assemblies (10.81 pc), followed by the Justice and Development Party (PJD), the Constitutional Union (UC) and the Socialist Union of Popular Forces (USFP) with 5 assemblies each (6.76 pc).
The Party of Progress and Socialism (PPS) obtained 4 assemblies (5.41 pc), followed by the United Socialist Party (PSU) and Al Ahd Addimocrati with one Assembly (1.35 pc).
