Rabat - Moroccan airliner Royal Air Maroc (RAM) and Saudi Airlines have scheduled 62 flights to carry Moroccan pilgrims to perform the haj rituals in Islam's holy sites, Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, Ahmed Taoufiq, said Monday.
The first 16 flights will be to Medina, while the others will be direct flights to Mecca, Taoufiq told the press before the departure of the first group of Moroccan pilgrims for the year 1436 Hegira, noting that the last flight is scheduled for September 16.
He added that the first return flight is scheduled for September 28 and the last flight back is set for October 16.
