Rabat has recalled its ambassador in Tunis "immediately and permanently", according to the weekly international magazine "Jeune Afrique" which cites knowledgeable sources in the Moroccan capital.
The Moroccan governement would have sanctioned the interference by the Ambassador in the political crisis in Tunisia. Ambassador Najib Zerouali Ouariti left discreetly Tunisia a few days ago, reports Webdo.tn. He was in office since 2006.
Sanctioned by his government, he underwent the recall measure for "an unacceptable interference in the internal affairs of Tunisia" according to Moroccan sources .
