Morocco is blessed to have a stable government and a great democracy with the new constitution, he told MAP at his arrival at the Rabat-Salé airport as part of a visit which will run until August 7.

He added that his country has an excellent relationship with the United States as it is the first country to have recognized America. "This is a kind of crown jewel in our relationship."

"My country sees in this country a great source of joy and a grand source of hope," said reverend Jackson who is scheduled to meet with Foreign minister Saad Dine El Otmani and other top officials.
