Royal Air Maroc Launches New Casablanca-Beijing Air Route

Casablanca - Royal Air Maroc (RAM) announced on Thursday the launch of its new air route connecting Casablanca to Beijing by three flights per week. Thanks to this new air route, the national company will link, for the first time, Morocco to China in less than 13 hours by direct flights operated by "B787-9 Dreamliner" with a capacity of 302 passengers, including 26 in business, said RAM in a statement.

Flights from Casablanca will be scheduled every Monday, Thursday and Saturday at 5:00 p.m. (local time) for an arrival in Beijing at 11:55 a.m. local time (d+1), the same source said, adding that flights from Beijing will be scheduled every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday at 1:55 p.m. for an arrival in Casablanca at 7:55 p.m. A large delegation of senior Moroccan and Chinese officials took part in the inaugural flight this Thursday, January 16, led by president of Royal Air Maroc Hamid Addou, and director general of the Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT) Adel Al Fakir.
