Rabat - Around 300 illegal immigrants tried, on Sunday night, to storm into the occupied city of Melilia, at the level of Tighorfatine, rural commune of Béni Chiker (Nador Province), according to the Interior Ministry.

The immigrants did not comply even after firing warning gunshot and started throwing stones, wounding 13 law enforcement officers, the ministry said in a statement.
