Madrid - Spain appointed Ricardo Diez-Hochleitner Rodriguez as new Ambassador to Morocco replacing José de Carvajal Salido, an official source told MAP on Friday in Madrid.
This appointment was approved during the weekly meeting of the Spanish Council of Ministers, The office of the Head of the Spanish Government said in a statement.
Hochleitner Rodriguez, 60, is the former secretary general of the Spanish Royal Household. He also served as Spain's Ambassador to Bosnia, Dominican, Slovenia and Austria.
He also took key responsibilities as director of international affairs at the Presidency of the government, director of foreign policy for Europe and Ambassador and head of Spain's permanent delegation to the OCED.
